What the two-year trend says: government AIQ tails (MLN, RIMS) widened from 2024 to 2025 while the flagships (KGMU) and the top deemed (KMC Manipal) tightened. Translation for this profile: retain every government reach choice into Round 3 — that's where the tail moves — but don't assume flagship or KMC movement based on an older year's numbers.
NRI safety net (Preference 3): if government seats don't materialise and management-quota movement disappoints, NRI-quota seats at reputed deemed universities close at far more lenient ranks. Since a sponsor is available, we keep the sponsorship documents verified and ready per MCC norms, so this route can be activated in later rounds without losing time.

Section 4

Budget-Fit Analysis

Your three routes carry very different cost profiles. Government (AIQ/Central): tuition is nominal — typically tens of thousands of rupees per year. Deemed management quota: tuition at reputed deemed universities commonly runs ₹15–30 lakh per year, plus hostel and other charges — total programme cost can approach or exceed ₹1 crore at the top institutions. NRI quota: fees are higher still, usually denominated in US dollars. In your full report, every shortlisted college carries its exact fee, validated from the MCC fee bulletin or the college's official disclosure, with source and as-on date — plus flags for any bonds, deposits or hidden charges.

Section 5

Round-by-Round Strategy

1

MCC Round 1

Fill government (AIQ/Central) choices first — Dream → Reach — then reputed deemed in your management-quota order. Listing a reach college costs nothing; skipping it can't be undone.

2

MCC Round 2

If Round 1 gives a deemed seat, default to Accept & Upgrade — AIQ government seats historically slide meaningfully into Round 2 as top candidates vacate for state and central options.

3

MCC Round 3

The biggest deemed-quota movement typically happens here. If government is clearly out of reach by now, lock the best management-quota seat rather than gambling on stray.

4

NRI activation & Stray

If management fees or movement disappoint, the NRI route activates — sponsorship documents kept verified per MCC norms so no round is lost to paperwork. Stray round rules are confirmed against the current MCC notice before acting.
