NBEMS has declared the NEET PG 2026 cut-off along with the result on 24 September 2026. The qualifying cut-off is 262 marks for General/EWS, 244 for General PwBD and 226 for SC/ST/OBC (including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC), out of 720.
The minimum qualifying/eligibility criteria set by NBEMS for admission to MD/MS/DNB/DrNB (direct 6-year) and PG Diploma courses for the 2026-27 session.

How to read this: “Candidates at or above” is the number of the 2,65,959 scored candidates whose score is at least that cut-off, whatever their category. “Rank at cut-off score” is the range of NEET PG 2026 ranks held by candidates who scored exactly the cut-off. Both are calculated from the official published result.
NEET PG qualifying marks are set as a percentile of all candidates who appeared, not as a fixed score. In 2026 the 50th percentile worked out to 262, the 45th to 244 and the 40th to 226. Because roughly half of the 2,65,959 scored candidates are at or above 262, a General/EWS candidate needs to be in about the top half to qualify.
Clearing the cut-off only makes you eligible for NEET PG counselling. The rank at which a particular college or branch closes (the “closing rank”) is decided later, round by round, in MCC All India Quota counselling and in each state’s counselling. According to the official published result, 1,33,655 candidates scored 262 or more and 1,59,943 scored 226 or more. Whether a candidate has qualified depends on the cut-off for their own category.
